Those Boys Love Me.
I've been sick.
I managed to drag myself into the living room at some point to watch a movie with the boys - but I was wearing layers of clothes, socks and a blanket. I was still shivering and aching terribly.
The boys always like to sit close to me when we watch TV - Robbie leaning sideways against me so his shoulders and head are resting on my right side and Noah laying with his head on my lap. But I was covered up and obviously unwell. Noah pulled off his pajama top and slipped under the blanket on my left side and pressed himself flat against me. Robbie did the same on the right side. I asked what they were doing. Noah said "We are taking care of our Momma - keeping you warm." Robbie said "We are your boy blanket."
It was sooo sweet and I just knew that the gesture was pure and unadulterated love.
But holy cr*p those sharp little elbows and knees really hurt when they dig into you!
