those choosing godparents...
How are you asking them? Are you doing anything unique? I am 36w and want to ask my sister the first time she visits the baby. Any ideas?

Re: those choosing godparents...
my sister knew she was the gm when we found out it was a boy.. i have two sisters, and they decided that if it was a boy it would go to one, if it was a girl it would go to the other.
the godfather is chosen, and he knows he is the godfather, we just havent officially asked him yet.. probably just going to send him a 3d sono pick and tell him here is your godson!

Re: those choosing godparents...
I'm so bad with that kind of stuff - I tend to not make a big deal out of anything ........My sister was annoyed w/ me b/c I never 'officially' asked her to be my MOH ........as IF it would have been anyone else? She would have never spoken to me again !! -
So, I'm just going to ask ........and that's it. I'm sure my sister and my BIL already assume anyway -

Re: those choosing godparents...
My BIL and his family already assume that he is going to be the god father. As for GM i have no idea to ask. I want to ask my best friend but DH feels that since she has moved she may not be involved enough. And my BIL thinks i should ask his GF whom i fight with every other day because she takes everything personal such as Us not telling her first the baby's name. Meanwhile they arent even married or engaged yet. So this is another questions still hanging over my head.

Re: those choosing godparents...
I kinda have a problem myself. I have one brother and DH has one sister, but I didn't want to ask either one. One because SIL have a daughter and did not ask my DH to be the GF and my brother is not the most responsible person in the world. DH said we should keep it in the family since I have a brother and he a sister. Well it really bothers me my SIL didn't ask my DH to be the GF. She has already said shes not going to have anymore kids. It doesn't bother him, but then again nothing really bother him. Any advise?
