Those of you with smaller nurseries- come on in!

We will be makingour office the baby's room. It's not tiny, but it's not that big either. We went furniture shopping yesterday and we really want to get the Munire Contempo collection. It's being discontinued so it's super cheap for very good quality. It was a complete steal- crib, dresser, armoire, crib mattress, and changing pad for $1299. We spent more then double that on DS's Munire Newport set. We did a space planning program and even moved around the furniture that's presently in the room (desk, loveseat, etc...) and it will all fit, but it's going to be tight.
If you have a smaller space, what pieces did you purchase for the room? I also really want a chair in their for nursing. Again, I'm pretty sure it will al fit, but I don't want it to be completely overwhelmed with furniture.

We have a small nursery as well. I have DS crib, his dresser with changing pad and a book case piece on top of the dresser. DH made an entire wall of the room into a large closet. I also have a rocking chair in one corner and a large basket full of stuffed animals and toys.

I have a glider but that's in my room.

I happen to love Munire and for that price with all those pieces I say grab it. Worst case you don't use all of it and store a piece somewhere (even if with the grandparents...or sell it).

That's kind of our thinking too. It almost seems silly not to get all three pieces for that price. I'm just not really crazy about how we're going to need to configure the room. I like when you walk in to see the crib/bed. We're probably going to need to put the crib directly on the left wall when you walk in. We have to work around the closet space and don't want the crib too close to the window. Chat Icon

Ours is 9x9 with no closet so storage was a huge issue for us. We have: crib, tall dresser, long dresser, changing table and a glider/ottoman. See my album for pics.

We have a kind of small room for ursery too. It has a pretty large closet, tho.
Jenise- where did you get this furniture? We saw the crib/changing table combo at BBB and loved it, but didn't see any matching dressers...Can you tell where yours is from??

TIA!

Ours is small too- about 9x9. We will have a crib, changing table/dresser combo, bookcase, Diaper Genie, glider and ottoman. We haven't put it all in yet, so once we do that, I'll see how it looks and if there's anything else that can go comfortably in there.

Re: Those of you with smaller nurseries- come on in!

our nursery is pretty small... I have DD's crib in it- which is natural and HUGE- so thank god all I have is a changing table and one tall dresser in addition to the rocker/ottoman- that's all that fits!@
