Those that have a double stroller
What kind do you have?
Do you twins or 2 children of different ages? How old are they?
What do you love and hate about your stroller?
How do you use it? Outside walking/running? mall? travel? etc.
Thanks

Re: Those that have a double stroller
I have the Graco Duo Quattro Tour and am not really crazy about it. The pros for me are that DS can't bother DD and for a fullsize double it really isn't that heavy and does fold rather small. Now that DD is 6 months and sits up to look around I feel like she can't see as much because it is a tandum stroller. I only use it for the mall. We did take it out once for a walk and it seemed ok but DS was throwing a tantrum so we headed home. I had the Urban Double Jogger by Mountain Buggy and sold it because it was aqkaward to put in and out of the car. It doesn't actually lock and stay closed. The front wheels just flip back and it stays flat. The seats are to reclined for DS. He would also grab DD's feet when he got annoyed. It was great for DD when she was newborn because it layed flat. The Graco does also.
I really wanted the Zooper Tango because it accepted an infant carrier (graco also does but I have a peg perego). It seemed the best but I was nervous to buy it sight unseen. Now Dh doesn't want another side by side.
Mine are 6 months and 21 months.

Re: Those that have a double stroller
I have the Graco DuoGlider.
I have 2 kids, they are 23 months apart.
I love that it is light and folds easily. The only bad thing is that the cup holder and visor shade always come out and we constantly have to pop them back in.
I use it for everything. The mall, walking, and travel.

Re: Those that have a double stroller
What kind do you have? I started with the Graco Duoglider, now I have the Sit 'n Stand
Do you twins or 2 children of different ages? How old are they? My boys are 2 and 4.
What do you love and hate about your stroller? Loved that the Duoglider had 2 reclining seats and a huge basket, hated that it was so heavy. Love the ease of the Sit 'n Stand, hate that the basket is so hard to get to.
How do you use it? Outside walking/running? mall? travel? etc. Running? Anywhooo, at this point, we only use it if we go to the mall, Manhattan or somewhere where there's alot of walking, since my 4 year old can only handle so much. We're taking it to Disney in April.

Re: Those that have a double stroller
Our kids are 14 months apart and we have the Maclaren techno side by side. I HATE it. It was okay when they were younger but my dd is really cramped in it now that she is 2 1/2 and it is a PITA walking around the neighborhood and navigating bumps and sidewalks. Not the smoothest ride. The only saving grace is that its lightweight and folds up easily.
Not sure what to get next - thinking about a sit n stand.

I went through 2 of them, my 1st was baby jogger city series-I LOVED IT=handled so smooth, easy on turns fit through every door, but it folded up bulky and didn't lock closed, and my oldest would only sit in it to take walks-she would scream in it at the mall cause she couldn't sit upright enough in it since it's kinda bucket seats and she couldn't hold/reach her sisters hand.
my 2nd and the one i still have-Chicco C5 double, I LOVE IT MORE! It's folds down very compactly for a double, it's light, yet durable and my girls are very very comfy it. Both of them sit in it without a fight anywhere we go. It's an umbrella stroller that also reclines. The only drawback, sun shade isn't as big as i wish it was, but i bought something else for it.
My kids are 14 months apart and i used it since my youngest was 4 weeks old.
I use it for everything-walks, travel, mall, errands. My overstuffed diaper bag even hangs off the handles and it doesnt tip. The baskets underneath are great too.

Does the Chicco carrier work in it? or do you just put your 4 week old in it as is? Do you need extra support for her?

I have the Zooper Tango, it's a side by side that takes the Graco infant seat, I really like it so far... I use it for the mall and I will use it for walking when the weather warms up a bit...

I don't think you can put the carrier in.
I put the newborn in it as is. I just put it as flat as i could and put a burp cloth down under neath her head. She was fine and comfy and slept in it all the time. The shoulder harness cushions kinda kept her head steady and acted like a positioner but weren't in the way, kwim? Her head never flopped forward and i strapped her in so she didn't slide forward.
here's my exact stroller Chicco C5 Double
