Those that have Oil but use Propane?
Is the propane used for the stove only?
What else can the propane be used for in lieu of oil?
Do you find your oil bill is significantly cheaper since you are using Propane or doesn't really make a difference?
We have Oil and the main gas line is over 2K feet away........so Gas is out!
So whether we decide on Propane or Electric, we need to figure out if we should get a Gas or Electric Stove top??
I'm trying to decipher if getting a gas stove top will be worth it? Or will I just be happier with the Electric? It's prettier........but thats probably about it. LOL
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Those that have Oil but use Propane?
I have propane for the stove/oven. I have oil heat. I pay $200/ for 2 years worth of propane for my stove. I love cooking with gas and could not go back to an electric stove.
You can also hook it up for your dryer. We haven't done that but you could if the line was close enough. You would use more propane that way but it is cheaper than oil and certainly cheaper than electric.
