How long did you wait to put them in it? (smell wise)

I'm having an addition built right now, and it includes new bedrooms for both DC. Since most paint (even low-VOC paint) off-gasses for months, I am using no VOC paint, so I don't have to worry about all of those poisonous chemicals in the room where DC are sleeping.

Most paint that advertise either low or no VOCs are measuring just the base white color. Once you add colorant, they have VOCs.
Before I knew about VOCs, I painted DS's room about a month before his birth. While most of the off-gassing is gone by then, there was still some in the air.... Some paint takes up to a year to completely off-gas.
