Those that recently tiled bathtub area...
Did you have a corner shelf put in for putting shampoo bottles and such on? We are not doing the cutout and not sure if I should go with a shelf

Those that recently tiled bathtub area...
In our bathroom with the tub, we did not do a shelf. Our fixtures are oil rubbed bronze and we got one of those shelf things that hangs over the shower head in that finish. In our bathroom with just a shower, we did a cut-out

We just did a stall shower and did 2 corner shelves. Even though we have a bench, I definitely wanted shelves for shampoo bottles and such.

I have cutouts in each of my bathrooms - but I'd definitely go w/ the shelves in place of those other things you can buy and add later -
Always easy to clean, always neat, nothing hanging from your showerheard or those annoying tension rods that inevitably rust, no matter how much you spend on them ........
DEFINITELY go w/ the fixed tile shelves.

Yes we did 2 shelves and a cutout. I am happy we went with the shelves as well.
