Those that traveled with a porter crib....
We are bringing the porter crib with us to Florida on Friday. Can you check this at the gate before you get on the plane or do you have to check it with your luggage? I am worried about it getting crushed.

no adviceon the crib as we have no traveled with DD yet but just wanted to say how exciting to be taking Christopher on his first trip!!!! good luck and have fun.

We didn't take one, my ILs and my dad both decided to buy one on their own as they figured other grandchildren would eventually visit them too.
We did see other families checking them and they appeared to be fine on the carosel at the end of the trip.

We checked it with our luggage. It was fine. We flew Delta.
