Those that use sleep sacks for 12+mos...
How does this work? My DS is always standing and walking around in his crib and standing up...is the sleep sack going to make him trip all over the place?
Also, why did u decide to use the sack instead of a regular blanket...TIA!!!!

I stiil use the sleep sack at 15 months.
He walks in it no problem!
I use that because I am personally not comfortable with a blanket yet. This works out perfectly since it's a wearable blanket!

Re: Those that use sleep sacks for 12+mos...
I have been debating whether I should use the regular Sleep Sacks or the ones with feet. DD is 15 months also. But I'm definitely doing one of them instead of a loose blanket, for two reasons: 1- her room is the coolest one in the house, so I want to make sure she's fully covered & warm; and 2- I'm just too nervous for a blanket still.

Thats what I use. I put regular PJ's on him with socks and when it is cool at night i put the carters sleepers with feet on him. My DS always hated the sleep sack!

Jack only goes in the sack minutes before bed - and then when he wakes in the am I put him in regular pjs - so I'm not really worried about him walking all that much you know? He may take a few steps in the crib - but he's not running a marathon in it!

We use the sleep sack with the feet holes. It's absolutely PERFECT in the winter because she tends to kick her blankets off.

DS is 12 months and he is in the sleep sak. He seems to do just fine in it. When I go to get him in the morning he is standing with no problems!
We use the sleep sak because Lucas moves around too much at night to keep a blanket on him!

Yeah, see that's why I think I may just stick to the regular sleep sacks too. DD already wears the fleece footed-PJ's in the winter, and wears the sleepsack over (her room is that cool). And I put her in the sleepsack right before bed, so you're right, it's just pulling herself up in the crib that I was concerned about...but I think you sold me!

DS is 10 months, and we got the sleep sack with holes--even if I felt comfortable with a blanket, he moves all over the crib. I can't see it staying on him. And I bought warm fleece PJs with feet for cold days.

I dont feel comfortable with a blanket yet so I just bought AJ the early walker sleep sacks that have the holes for the feet.
