Those urine samples are getting harder and harder to do...
Yesterday I went for my regular appointment, and as always I did my urine sample first. It's getting harder and harder to do and I am always worried about spilling.
So when I was in the exam room, on the scale, the nurse said, "Oh, what's that smell?" and I thought, Oh, #@$^, I've peed myself. I was mortified, and said I didn't know. Then she said something about vanilla, and I remembered that I'd put on a lot of vanilla lotion before I left the house. I am congested and have a bad sense of smell, but for a minute there I was sooo embarrassed.

I can totally sympathize about the urine samples.  I can't see a thing. I joked with the nurse, "when did the cups get so small?"

Try doing a 24 hour urine test at 33 weeks! Its no picnic, I thought the one I had to do early in the pregnancy was bad, this one was horrible!

Can you do it at home and bring it in? My office gives me a new cup every appointment, and says they 'prefer' the first urine of the morning, but they'll take anything... That way you could be in the comfort of your own home, covered in pee!

I'm feeling ok for the most part, thanks for asking Tania!
Laura- I had to do the 24 hour pee test too, because of my blood pressure. Can you say  ? And my doctor hinted that I may have to do it again next week because my pressure was back up.
