those who are using vera bradley bags for hospital bag?
i have a few questions...
ihave always really loved these bags but never bought one.. i wanted to start packing my hospital bag but thought maybe i would go and finally buy one!
heres my ?'s
1. where's the best place to buy? (i know hallmark and ebay both have but im a chicken when it comes to ebay)
2. Whats a good price for the Large duffle bag?
3. Can it be washed in the washing machine? (i have an issue with things that go to the hospital either need to be washed 2 times after coming home or thrown away! )
Thanks!!

Re: those who are using vera bradley bags for hospital bag?
i wouldnt go thru ebay
DH bought my duffle bag off the vera bradley site and i think the large one is 80 and the smaller one is 60. The large one is good for a week away the small one is similiar to that of a gym duffle bag 1-2 overnights max.

I got mine on the Vera Bradley sight and yes they are machine washable just don't put them in the dryer.

Forget ebay - can you hit fortunoffs? They had duffles and a lot of them 50% off (not sure how much is left now) and a lot of other types of VB bags (they were out of the baby bags a while ago however).
Yes they are machine washable!

Crashing..Megan try ebags.com They have good prices on them usually discontinued styles.
Also there is a place called Past and Present in Sayville that has a good selection of them.
Check out the VB site -- whatever they are priced on there is what the max price of them should somewhere else.

I got one of mine at Fern's Creative Thimble in Huntington. The Sunrise Mall Hallmark has the largest selection I have seen locally.

Hey Meg... In Bay Shore, there is a store that sells them exclusively. It's called Willy Nilly Too. They're worth every penny bc you'll use it all the time (they're the perfect carry-on bag too).

I normally get my Vera Bradley directly through their website or at Molly's Hallmark in Sunrise Mall. They are the same price wherever you go, unless of course you decide to go on ebay.

Re: those who are using vera bradley bags for hospital bag?
be careful- some of VB are not machine washable....
and BTDT- they give you like 2 chairs outside of your hospital bed- the bag will most likely end up on the floor when visitors come so you will definately want to wash/disinfect when you bring it home....
I ended up buying a cheap $14 Nylon style duffel from Walmart.com so I didnt care what happened to it.
