those who bought two bouncy seats...
Did you buy the same exact design/brand? I read somewhere that you should buy two different ones which I guess I could see why, but I would wonder what if they both liked the same one?

Re: those who bought two bouncy seats...
We had two Papasans, like these (where they slept a lot and napped in sometimes when they were really little):
And one of these for when they were a little older, so they could "play":

Thanks - I like that rainforest one and was thinking of getting that anyway. So the papasan is more for when they were first born?

We had 2 papasan. They were great b/c they fold flat when traveling. I think it is a good idea to get to of the same. They were always doing the same thing once they were on the same schedule.

I bought two of the same. I bought the infant to toddler rockers! The kids love them especially now that they have figured out how to rock themselves!

These are the ones I use and still use as well.
I have also learned to always by 2 of the same thing - I don't know if its just mine, but I have a boy and a girl - and it doesn't matter what it is but Hailey always wants what Zachary has - for example - we bought 2 huge bouncy balls - one purple and one blue - Hailey threw a fit over the blue one.
We bought them those little couches that open up to beds - it had to be 2 diego beds.

Re: those who bought two bouncy seats...
We had two infant papisans as well. Loved them, but you can only use them the first few months, but trust me your kid will live in them when they are newborns. There were nights that when they would not sleep that we left them in there. They loved them.
After that we got the infant to toddler rocker from FP. Best choice I made. They are great seats when they are little and then become rockers that your kids can sit in when they are bit older.
Hope that helps!

Re: those who bought two bouncy seats...
I got one aquarium one and the other a kick an play. They didn't have the papsan ones when mine were born, but they seem so small to me. I used the bouncers until my boys were over one, they were still taking bottles in them.

Hmmm....I am now thinking of that infant to toddler rocker. If I get that, do I need the bouncy as well?

GET that one ...I had it and LOVED it. You will get longer use out of it than the bouncer. My boys used it all the way till about 10 months, wwell Matthew a little earlier, because he was squirming to get out.

ITA.
I didn't know about the infant to toddler rocker when my DC's were born.
My friend gave me her bouncy seat and then we bought another (different style) but had I to do it all over again I would have just went to the rocker.
I would say it's bouncy OR rocker but to be honest, you can get many more months out of the rocker. My DC's were in it until 11 months. My DD got so big so fast she weighed too much for her bouncy at about 4 months or so.
BTW: My kids used Diane's rockers (Thanks again Diane ) and our friend's twins will be in them come the fall.

Re: those who bought two bouncy seats...
I had the rainforest one and Leapfrog one we bought at Kohls for under $10 I HATED the rainforest one and returned it after even calling Fisher Price because the tree frog kept clicking and making me crazy and the toys were too low that they kept getting their feet caught and they were too far away too reach.. I then got the infant to toddler rocker.. I LOVE IT !!! Harrison loves it and I added some other toys.. totally worth the money . The Leap frog one was good too totally woth the $10 we paid for it
