Those who delivered at Southside, what did you think??
I have my scheduled repeat c-section booked there next Friday.
I have the money set aside for a private room- if one is available.
We also went on a tour and brought Ava to the sibling class.
It seemed very nice to me, but my friend who gave birth there in January didn't like it.
I had Ava at Good Sam 4 years ago. The care was excellent, but I am getting my tubes tied, so it is not an option.
What did you think???????

I loved Southside both times. No complaints other than the visiting hours are too long IMO. I had a private room both times and would not have had it any other way. You should have no worries! Good Luck!

I LOVED southside. I liked the delivery area better than the maternity ward, but the maternity ward was fine. I just LOVED the delivery. I had a private room, then the air wasnt working great, so I got moved. But I cant wait to be back there!!!

I absolutely loved it there. I would encourage you to request (and pay for) a private room if you can get it. The staff were wonderful and accomodating. I was able to have my child with me the entire time - or have him put in the nursery if I wasn't comfortable having him around my guests. They allowed me to have a pretty large group of visitors too.

I love SS and will happily go there to deliver again.
I highly recomment the private room. I couldn't imagine having someone else there who I didn't know and have to use the same bathroom as them after birth (kwim)

I loved it there both times. I have heard nothing but good things about their maternity ward.
I didn't mind having the roommate, and I didn't want to shell out the $$ for a private room, but go for it if you want to.
