Those who have been to St. Thomas, how do you do excursions to other islands?

Do you have to book the excursion and then take a ferry over on your own?


Any other recs on TTD would be great!!!!

When I went we just took the ferry over to St. John, and we brought our rental car on the ferry with us.

We didn't pre-book it or anything, I think we just found out the ferry times and went over. I think if you miss the ferry you just wait for the next one.

St. Thomas was beautiful and St. John was a mini version with just less to do, more relaxing I guess.

Oh, ok! I don't want to miss any "must sees". I want to snorkel, and see what the area has. I was confused if we should prebook, and how to get over to the other islands,
