Those who have been to the Huntington Tulip Festival before
how early should I try to get there? I think it starts at 10. I wanted to find a space on the hill and throw a blanket down, take some pics without an insane crowd. Any suggestions?

Well, I have lived in Huntington for years, and know what it can get like there for any event - my advice is get there EARLY EARLY EARLY - 1st of all, parking (and traffic!) will be a b!tch... and Hecksher park gets insane with events - esp. if you want to put down a blanket - you have to also get there early for that....
