They never even asked me for DS'. I brought a copy with me though.
I was told by a JetBlue employee that they only check if the child looks like the could be two.
Oh and my SIL uses my neice's immunization records b/c she can't find her bc

They only require a copy to verify the age of the child.

No- you don't need it unless they are close to two and they have to question the age.

If you fly southwest and don't buy the extra seat, they do want to see it. When I flew Delta, they didn't need it.

just a copy & they never even looked at it. i think it is for babies approaching 2 years because then they are no longer free.

Last time I was on a plane the said you do not have to bring any form of id for children under 18yrs of age.
