Those who haven't used PIO in a while. .so basically .... PIO vets..
Do you still have bruises where you did it? I did my last PIO in December and I still have bruises! I don't feel them, but they're very visible. I heard it could take a few months, but its been a LONG time! Anyone else?

Wow, that's a while! I stopped PIO in Feb and probably still felt effects until April/May but nothing beyond that.
Hope your bruises heal soon!

When you feel the area, does it feel normal or lumpy (you may have to put some pressure there to feel deep under the skin)? You should not have bruising still by this point in time but anything is possible.
I ask because I've been told that sometimes you can get permanent lumps under the skin, which is why its important to massage area, break up the oil under the skin and apply heat (or even heat it up prior).

I haven't done shots since December also and I still have pain sometimes. The lumps took a long time to go away. I did heat and massage. It just took time.

Thanks! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one here.. I don't really feel it as much as I see it. I mean if it stays like this forever I don't really care, just wanted to know that it's normal!

I had the remnants of two bruises/sores for pretty much my entire pregnancy, and I stopped PIO at 11 weeks.
