Those who took progesterone suppositories
I am currently taking them, and I was just wondering if anyone experienced burning or itching while using them. Sometimes when I put them in I feel burning or itching (bad, like a yeast infection almost) but it goes away after a bit. Other times I have no problems at all. Very weird. My dr. said it was normal for some to have the itch/burn, but just wondering if anyone else had this experience. TIA!

I found them to be extrememly unpleasant!!!! Made my V very sore and irritated!

They are mixed into cocoa butter-there should be another mixture the pharmacist can use...ask your dr.

I agree. I had no problem. I just hated the leakage!

I agree. I had no problem. I just hated the leakage!
I didn't have a problem, just the leakage too. I felt like it defeated the purpose to use them in the morning since it all practically leaked right out.

Same here I felt like i was walking around in a wet bathing suit all day, pads did not help, they got soaked so fast. but no itching or burning

Thanks for the replies ladies. I hear you on the wetness factor-gross I will call my doc again tomorrow to make sure I shouldn't switch to another form of progesterone.
