Those who've taken lupron
did you feel twinges in your lower abdomen area? All day I've been getting sharp shooting twinges and cramps- and it's extremely uncomfortable. Plus, I'm gassy  Is that normal?  I've been taking BCPs for 2 weeks now and my first lupron shot last night- could it be b/c it's a combo of both of them?

See, I got them on Gonal-F last also! once it was SO bAD that DH had to practically carry me back to the car- I bent over to plug in christmas lights at my brothers house bc he was out of town and when I stood back up I had the sharpest shooting pains I've ever had in my life-- I swore that night I was pg b/c it was after the IUI and told DH it HAD to have something to do w/ that  Little did I know... 
This time I know it's def. not that but I feel awful today... I can get around I'm just extremely uncomfortable all day....

I don't remember feeling anything (it was only a week ago). Though I wasn't doing Lupron w/BCP. Maybe I just take shots good and you shouldn't go by me. Even the nurse giving me the POI shot is surprised I haven't bruised yet. I just don't really bruise easily. I got thick skin maybe. Good luck. I hope it doesn't sting tonight. As long as you don't feel wetness the alcohol should be dry, but I always fanned the area with my hand to be sure (after i inserted too early one night and got the sting).

I gotta tell you...there are probably twinges going on there all the time, we just notice them more when we're doing injections just waiting for something...I'm CONSTANTLY feeling twinges

I was on Lupon and BCP and didn't get those cramps and twinges. Now that I have moved on to Follistim and Menopur (along with the Lupron), I can telll you that I feel pressure in my abdomen and have bloating like you wouldn't believe!!!!
