Those with heavier legs....running question
I have found that the only way to "thin" out my thick thighs is getting my butt on a treadmill. I had been doing pretty well and need to start up again...
How much do you run daily and start to see changes? I know everyone is different, just looking for a ballpark to keep myself motivated....
TIA!

Re: Those with heavier legs....running question
Do you naturally have heavier legs because they are muscular? If so, you aren't going to see a huge change unfortunately. Mine tend to be like this, and they only get so thin since a lot of what is there is actually muscle (though admittedly at the moment there is a good amount of non-muscle too)!
Probably a couple months of regular exercise should let you see a difference, possibly a bit sooner.

Re: Those with heavier legs....running question
My legs are pretty thick and I get better results from running on a steep incline or the stair climber than lower inclines/flat surfaces.

Re: Those with heavier legs....running question
My legs are heavy and I believe will always be heavy - it's just how I'm proportioned. Running will help make your legs smaller but in order to get leaner you'll have to run as much as you can and avoid strength training your lower body.
ETA: I run 15+ miles a week and it takes a couple of months of consistent running to really see a noticeable difference.
