Thought I was having a baby at 34 weeks
On Sat DH and I went to the city and did a ton of walking, including lots of stairs. Not so smart. When we got home I had a gush of fluid and thought that was it. We went to the hospital and after a bunch of tests they determined I did not break my water---it was just cervical discharge. Not to be gross but I always assumed discharge was mucousy and this was clear, warm liquid. They hooked me up to the fetal monitors and I was contracting every 1-3 minutes----the contractions weren't painful but they were strong. They hooked me up to IV and pretty much flooded me with fluids. When the contractions spaced out they sent me home. They said that at 34 weeks they don't like to give shots because every medicine comes with its risks and at 34 weeks the baby is cooked enough. I go back to the OB tomorrow to see if there have been any cervical changes.

glad you are ok...and yess not to be gross but i have run to the doc too thinking i lost my waters or something...but turned out just to be discharge...but was clear and alot like you said!! oy!!!
