Thought I would share - those with DH/video game issues
It's not like I split the atom. But I was tired of hearing the sounds of destruction (in stereo) for hours on end.
Sisters - I think I struck gold
I found that if I run the vacuum - he stops. I have perfected this over the past few days, starting at the back of the house moving closer to the TV - until we do the classic "lift the feet" maneuver.
We both work full time, so he can't say to do itlater. Plus - if he asked me to stop, I would nicely tell him to do it when he is finished. (He's to smart for that trick)
He stops playing by the time I start vacuuming around the TV. He even mentioned getting ear phones...
Ahhh sweet success!

thats funny!
but everytime i find myself getting annoyed with DH for playing his video games, i have to remind myself that at least he's not out at a bar somewhere doing God knows what, kwim? i get pizzy for a second and then im just happy he's home with me. so as long as he's not interrupting any of my shows, he can play any games he wants!
