Thought last night was it
well we thought last night was it, i was having bad contraction from like 11:30PM to 4:30AM and pretty much they were between 7-13 min apart, so i called the doctor at like 3 AM and she said as long as I could breathe through the pain (which i was doing) to hold off coming to the hospital till they were 5 min apart consistently, unless i felt i needed meds to help with the pain, so i opted to stay home, she said if they continued at like 10 min apart throughout the night though to def come in in the AM to get checked at the office, well around 5:00AM they started getting further apart and less painful! I was like what the hell??!! and now there not bad at all, so i don't think i am even going to go to the office to get checked, i def think he will be coming this week, my contractions last night were really intense, totally different from the braxton hicks i was getting last week. i feel sort of stupid for calling the doctor and i feel bad that my DH was up breathing with me through most of the night and he ended up going to work this morning, (no use wasting a vacation day if i wasn't in labor yet). my question is should i call the doctor anyway and let them know it stopped or do i just go about my business and see if maybe it picks up again later or tomorrow? its a different doctor on call today from last night, so i dont think the new doctor even knows i called in thinking i was in labor. this whole having a baby is confusing LOL!!

That really stinks!! I personally wouldn't call the dr. today, I'm sure they will assume that the pains stopped. But if it makes you feel comfortable then you should call.
Hopefully this is the start of something for you though!

Re: Thought last night was it
First off, don't feel bad for calling the doctor last night. That's what they're there for and it's better to be safe than sorry. I don't think you need to call the doctor to tell them it stopped UNLESS there is something going on that is causing you to question what is happening. You are not the first nor the last to be confused about this whole pregnancy thing. We're all there with you and I think it's a good thing you are so in tune with your body and what is happening.
