Thought maybe I could help
I just wanted to say that I work for a large health insurance company and have access to a lot of Dr's creditials, schooling info, board certifications and when....and if anyone is in need of finding out info, you can FM me and I would be glad to look them up and help.
most of the info can be found online but it may take longer, I can find it quicker..

Re: Thought maybe I could help
Well, Im not 100% sure, BUT I know if we were handling it, how it would have to work is his benefit allowance has to do with claims submitted in HIS name...so any testing on him would, but as far as you using his it may be hard because of that, I have a suggestion though..What insurance company is it?
you can ask for a pre determination , and see if they say yes to your using his benefits, if they say NO...Appeal it. Make sure its done correctly and you should get 2 appeals. Once your 2 appeals( if it comes to that) are denied, you then take the responses to the dept. of insurance( you appeal it technically with them). They can have decisions overturned that are made by the insurance company and right now there is a LOT OF PRESSURE on insurance companies as well as NY state to offer IVF and or more infertility treatments to people...they may push your company to allow it.
