Thoughts about joining weight watchers online...first timer
I have never done Weight Watchers and really have no solid knowledge base of the point system. I had a baby 5 months ago & want to lose that last 5-8 pounds & belly fat...lol!
I have no time, or childcare, to attend meetings. Is it worth joining online? They have a 3month special. Will I receive the same materials and be fully educated about the point system? Is it worth it? thanks so much!

Re: Thoughts about joining weight watchers online...first timer
I always do better when I go to meetings rather than just doing it online. But, if you can't go to a meeting (it sounds like you've got your hands full!) definitely try it online. I would just be religious about weighing yourself in every week and recording it. WW online has a lot of great resources and information. One more thing to think about if you can find the time is that a lot of centers have Mommy and me meetings. Also, the meeting I go to (which is not mommy and me) always has kids and babies there- no one seems to mind. Good luck!

I've done it both ways and I found that when I did meetings, I was more successful. The meetings are only 40 mins, and you do get the etools to use either way if you buy the monthly pass.

I joined online to lose the last 10 lbs of baby weight. I think it is pretty self explanatory. I also think your success online depends on how self motivated you are. If you can really hold yourself accountable and weigh in at home every week, I'm sure you'll do fine.

All the information is on the website. There are tutoritals to take you through the plan explaining everything. You track your points online. You type in a food and usually it comes up with the points value and you click on it and put in your serving amount and it counts down your points for the day. It has tons of recipes and lists zero point foods and other helpful tips.
There is also an online store that you can buy recipe books, snacks etc.
