Thoughts on Ramzi Gender Theory...

Has anyone heard of this? I came across it the other day... Basically it says you can look at an early US and tell with 97% accuracy what gender the baby will be...

If you're looking at a transvaginal US, and placenta is on the right, its a boy... on the left, its a girl...

A transabdominal US would be reversed, boy would be on left, girl on right...

So for me, at my 6 week vag US, placenta was attached to the right... When looking at my 11 week abdominal US, baby's head is on the left... So according to this theory, I'm having a boy

Was just wondering if this rings true for the girls who already know the gender of their baby... I think this could be a fun topic of discussion! Chat Icon

Stupid question, but would the placenta be the yolk sac at 6.5 weeks? US tech pointed out the yolk sac and the baby, but no placenta...

Def not stupid bc I'm not sure of the answer myself. I'm just going by the tiny white blob I see in my early us. Who knows if this was even a "real" study (such a high success rate makes me a bit skeptical) but I found it interesting nonetheless.

I am pretty sure my placenta is in the same place as last pregnancy-- I have had anterior with both, and I believe both on my left side. I have a girl, and am expecting a boy.
