Maybe he's fooled around.
Maybe one of his past chicks was at a party they were all out and he flirted or made a comment.
Maybe that's why Solange beat him up in the elevator while B looked on and maybe that's why Solange had words with Rachel Roy.
And maybe it's all for press.
...... But it's definitely worked, whatever the case.

I don't care for Beyonce, but she has made a point (it goes beyond cheating, IMO).
That being said, I find this so, so personal. I feel awkward that it's out there like this.
And LOL at Rachel Ray. She just wants to make brunch and people are attacking her.

I cant stand Beyoncé or any of her music. She's completely classless. I also think she looks like a fool. You're going to put out an album that talks about how your husband cheated on you and then you're going to sit back and act like everything is OK now? IMO if she was going expose all of this and basically publically shame him, she should be divorcing him. If not, then just keep it to yourself. It's extremely personal content related to her marriage. I don't see how this isn't going to do major damage to them as a couple.
Maybe now she'll stop making songs about having sex with him in the backseat of cars

I lost interest in Beyonce a long time ago. She used to come across as happy & positive and I liked her music, but now I "view" her as angry and as a result, I haven't listened to any of her new music in years.

I'm a Beyonce fan so I'm probably in the minority here. (& I didn't attack Rachel Roy or Rachel Ray.. & thought that whole thing was hilarious). LOL. I actually really appreciate her putting out an album that shows it's not always all peachy keen and beautiful in life, that's she's not perfect, and that sh*t hits the fan sometimes. I totally think Jay-Z cheated but they reconciled and we don't hear that story too often.. so I'm glad she's telling it.

I read an article about how it's about blackness, womanhood, and freedom. There is a lot of symbolism in it, apparently. I can't find the article now, though .

Everyone is flipping out over a line she says in one of her songs "Call Becky with the good hair" aka "Go call your hoe". Rachel Roy (who was rumored to have been the one Jay-Z cheated with and the woman at the center of Solange's freak out on the elevator) posted an instagram post the same night lemonade was released referencing her "good hair" aka.. pretty much shouting herself out as the other woman. All of Beyonce's fans started posting on Rachel Roy's instagram but half of them didn't get the name right and started attacking Rachel Ray instead. That's the sparknotes for ya!

i never considered myself a fan of hers but i watched it and found it to be powerful and mesmerizing. for those who say she should just be quiet about her experience, my question is why? cheating is something that happens very frequently in relationships. millions of people know what its like to be betrayed. why shouldn't she put her experience out there in a beautiful and artistic way? music is about connecting and relating and i bet this album has a real resonance for a lot of people.
