It's not racist but it's stereotyping...in the urban terms "Becky" refers to the typical white girls.
Rappers use the term "Becky" in their songs all the time to refer to white girls who offer up good fellatio. It has been out there for a long time in that industry that white women love to perform those services so are often referred to as a "Becky" or they even call the act itself a "Becky" (Plies sings a beautiful song about it lol)
So I don't consider it racist but it's stereotyping most definitely.
Replace said singer with a white singer, change becky to sha nay nay, and 100% bet you there would be a lot of people up in arms.
And since when is stereotyping not racist??? You just confirmed what i said. Calling all.white girls becky is the equivalent of calling all black girls shanequa... ITS RACIST... Blatant racism...
No, it's not racism. Perhaps you have your vocabulary mixed up, but it's not racism. Last I checked white people have never been oppressed. The ignorance in your statement is astounding.
Your level of ignorance is whats wrong with the world... Its 100% racist. My vocabulary is clear. Racism does not equal opression. Maybe you need a dictionary.
Edit: not worth arguing with someone who does not know the difference between stereotype and racism.
Also not worth arguing with someone who said that "Fox news was real news" a while ago. I think the ignorance of that statement stands alone .
And yet you keep responding... LMFAO
Aww I guess you live in an alternate reality. Why is TRUTH so hard for people to admit to themselves...
You keep responding as well
It's not truth. Becky isn't a racist term. I don't live in an alternate reality. Not sure where you are getting that from.
It's the fact that you are ignorant- sorry that you can't see that!
This article is a nice explanation:
http://verysmartbrothas.com/where-becky-comes-from-and-why-its-not-racist-explained/
The last paragraph kind of sums up it up:
"Yes. Admittedly, referring to White women as “Becky” isn’t particularly nice, but it’s ultimately a reaction to a certain type of privileged young White woman who exists in a state of racial obliviousness that shifts from intentionally clueless to intentionally condescending. Basically, if you don't want to be a Becky, then you should stop being a Becky."

Ya know what the fact that all you can do is continue to call me ignorant because I disagree with you strongly lets me know more about your character than mine.
You dont have to like my opinion you dont have to agree with it, but your the one beating a dead horse...
I dont particularly care for your opinion and I think your opinion is why the country is in the sad state its in. *drops the mic* im out Respond if you like but I wont be reading it...

Thoughts on the whole Beyonce Lemonade thing?
According to Plies, "Becky" is referring to the act of fellatio. Plies terms the act "Becky" because of the widely held notion and/or stereotype that Caucasian women are somewhat more sexually liberal in terms of frequency of encounters, random partnering, and overall lasciviousness. With "Becky" being a popular name given to females at birth in the White society, one can assume that Plies simply chose this name because of its unique association to "Whiteness", particularly where the female is concerned.

Interesting. So basically they are saying white women are more slutty than black women?

Wow. Just because white people haven't been oppressed doesn't mean that other groups cant and don't make rascist comments in reference to them. Reverse rascism is absolutely a real thing and this would be a prime example of it. While it may not be the actual textbook definition of racisim, it is, by all counts of what society today would consider it, rascism. It's absolutely NO different than if a white person turned around and sang a song about "Shanequa with the kinky hair"....it would be considered a racist song and the singer would be branded as a racist forever after. It is racism and there is a major double standard.

Yeah, no. Saying something is "reverse racism" is overly simplistic. One needs to take a look at the differences between prejudice, racism, and stereotypes.
I could post articles, but they would probably not be read, so why bother?
