Thoughts on These Shower Locations
I would love to hear feedback from those of you who have attended parties at any of these places - or just have general comments on the food/atmosphere if you've been to eat there.
-HR Singleton's - Bethpage -La Piazza - Merrick -George Martin (original) Rockville Center -Novita - Garden City
Any other suggestions for great venues in Nassau would also be greatly appreciated!

Re: Thoughts on These Shower Locations
I've eaten at La Piazza and the food is really good. My shower was at Baci and my best friends was at Pappa Razzi. They are both in Westbury and have really good food. At Pappa Razzi you can have your own room which is nice. My friend did it buffet style and it was really nice.

Re: Thoughts on These Shower Locations
I've been to one party at Singleton's and been there another time to eat. To be honest, I don't love the food. Novita I've only been there to eat (not for a party) and the food was good but it was expensive. The other places I haven't been to.

As far as other suggestions... I know my shower is going to be at **** and Dora's Restaurant in Massapequa. I'm also a huge fan of Piccolos in Bellmore. I've been to a shower at City Cafe in Garden City and it was very good.

Re: Thoughts on These Shower Locations
i have been to George Martin's for a party and just to eat. they do have a room upstairs for parties, but overall, the place is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$. that might not matter to you, but if you're on a budget, i am sure you could do better price wise.

Believe it or not, George Martin's offers one of the best packages for a brunch buffet of all the places I listed. I was just never there and was wondering about food and atmosphere. They told me for a party my size I'd get the downstairs dining room. Upstairs would be tight.

Re: Thoughts on These Shower Locations
I just had my shower at Seventh St Cafe in Garden City. It was phenonmenal. Everyone in family raved about the food and service. I plan to also likely have DDs Christening there due to the experience we had. I highly recommend. The homemade manicotti my mom chose as a pasta before the meal was to die for....everyone could not get over how homemade it tasted.

I love Piccolos in Bellmore. I have also had parties at Palmers (the old Fulton Street Pub) in Farmingdale & they do a great job.
