Three-legged feral
There is a three-legged feral cat that has been roaming around our neighborhood. The cat gets along just fine. S/he can walk and run, as the cat did when I tried to approach him/her this evening.
Do you think there is something I should be doing? The cat doesn't seem sick or anything, and the leg appears healed from a distance. I don't want to call a shelter or something for the cat to be put down. After all, s/he is a feral cat.

Re: Three-legged feral
Does it appear that the leg was surgically amputated? If the cat seems to get by fine and does not appear to be in pain or distress, I would leave the kitty alone.

I can't get close enough to see. It looks like a nub though---not something that just happened or was violently torn off.
