Thrive Market or something similar for groceries?
Does anyone buy online from thrive market?
I hate weekly grocery shopping and have been using instacart quite a bit as of late but sometimes the shopper chooses poor quality produce. I had to throw away an entire bag of nectarines, avocados, and raspberries from just one order. Has anyone done a subscription service like thrive or the misfits veggies where you actually actually get consistently fresh produce? I hate how these subscriptions make you pay for the subscription first before seeing what you can order...
I probably sound like a complainer but TBH my husband works weekends so I prefer the convenience of grocery delivery because it saves time and I dont have to drag my 6 and 8 year old out of the house for a 3 hr. shopping trip. The only 2 stores near me are LIDL (5 min), which isn't great, and a grotesque run down king kullen that doesnt even have a bakery. I wont set foot in there again after the blast time I went there was grime all over the shopping carts. Everything else is 25 minutes or more drive

Can you get PeaPod delivery where you are? I actually had pretty good luck with them last summer. Since those pickers and drivers are employed directly by the store, they have more incentive to do a good job.

I order from Thrive- but they don't have produce- it's more pantry type items. I love them for that- we have some special dietary needs in our house and they have tons of options & good prices for the most part. I've done misfits and I cancelled after a few months- it's just such random produce and it's definitely "misfit" - its all the mishapen items, so they looks strange and some of it was just stuff I'd never use and I always felt like I got an excessive amount of potatoes LOL (which makes sense bc you're guaranteed a minimum weight). What about just going to a store for fruits/veggies- I have a small market near me that I just pop into once or twice a week for that stuff rather than getting it at the bigger stores.
