Thumbs up!! Puddle Jumper = AWESOME!!
I know a lot of ladies on here were interested in it until learning the minimum weight ... well, Ann was 23lbs 12oz at her 18 month appt in January. I really don't know how much she weighs now but I decided to give it a try anyway.
It was great and she loved it!! (She is a complete water rat though!)

Re: Thumbs up!! Puddle Jumper = AWESOME!!
We bought 4 of them last year..My boys were 2 at the time and my niece and nephew who were the same age and this thing was our saving grace all summer. There were independent and loved every minute of it. It was the best $20 I ever spent on an item.

Bops it would totally work for a 2.5 year old. I had it last year for DS when he was 2.5 and it was great because at that age they want hte independence but the swimmies arent always enough, this is great because it keeps their chest up.
Also its coast guard certified which is great!

We have had one for 2 years, it is the best thing ever. We got ours at BJ's but I have seen them at Target and actually at Waldbaums the other day.

Re: Thumbs up!! Puddle Jumper = AWESOME!!
that is awesome! I just ordered one for DS!!! He loves to "swim" independently. The swimmies dont keep him afloat that well, so he mostly just floats around holding onto a noodle but Im always afraid he will sleip off. Now he can be independent and I dont have to worry as much!

They have them at Amazon. We got one for my 18-month old on Amazon in March, they had the best price.

Re: Thumbs up!! Puddle Jumper = AWESOME!!
I just sent DH to get 2 from Leslie's Pool Supply in Lindenhurst. It's right on Sunrise Hwy. I think they are $20. We probably could have gotten them a few bucks cheaper but we are going to use them today. Thanks for the recommendation!

Re: Thumbs up!! Puddle Jumper = AWESOME!!
Just picked one up at BBB. They had a lot. DD is under the weight recommendation but from what others are posting I think it may be ok. DD was two in April and weighs 24.5 pounds. I never leave her unsupervised in the water anyway.
