Thundershirt?
Has anyone tried this? Bowie's separation and storm anxiety is out of control, its getting worse every day. We don't allow the animals in our bedrooms, and now he's even getting separation anxiety when we go to sleep, which is wreaking havoc on my already limited sleep. Just now there was a slight rumble of thunder, it didn't even rain a drop. The gate was up because the kids were playing and he barked like mad and pooped all over. He was literally like 3 feet from us, just the gate was up. I've tried the training techniques to no avail. I'm wondering if I should give the thundershirt a try before going to the vet for meds.

Re: Thundershirt?
I know people with Labs who tried it and loved it, said there was a difference immediately. But over time, they stopped trying to reinforce the training and began to depend on it. So I think if you get the shirt but continue the work you've been doing, it could be a great solution for you.
Besides, it's less than $40 which you pay just to go to the vet anyway, right? I think it's worth a try.
