Thyroid Question
I am currently seeing a fertility doctor and he made me get a whole bunch of bloodwork, one of my tests came back that thyroid numbers are low. So I called my regular doctor to tell her and she looked at the numbers and said I should get the test taken all over again. Which I did already Saturday morning. The results take about 3-5 days.
When I asked the nurse what this meant? is it bad? she said to me that the doctor said Dont get all stressed about it and stop worrying we will see what happens when the other test comes back. All I wanted to know is what that means? I dont wanna drive myself crazy looking stuff up on the internet.
Has anyone ever had low numbers with there thyroid?

Re: Thyroid Question
I am not sure if it was low numbers or high numbers, but DH has thyroid issues.
Basically it just means that he has to go see an endochronologist every 6 months to get his blood tested and take synthroid every day to balance out his thyroid levels. It doesn't affect him any other way.
Try not to make yourself crazy (easier said than done). I am sure everything will be fine!

Re: Thyroid Question
Dont worry about the numbers, depending on what aspect of the thyroid function test, up and down means different things. Either way, thyroid issues are very treatable, if needing treatment at all. i wouldn't worry at this point.
