Tight pants...cause baby "thumping"??
Ok, so yesterday I wore reg jeans-not maternity...squeezed my behind into them. After dinner I could have sworn I felt little thumps on the band of my pants, as if the baby was saying "Get these tight pants off! They are crushing me!!" 
Today, I am wearing (a different pair) of non maternity jeans and right now the same thing is happening!
I have only felt flutters up until now...is it possible the baby is "thumping" me to get these pants off?? I am only 16.5 weeks

Yup, happened to me all the time. I couldn't wear anything except really big stretchy pants b/c the baby just didn't like it.

Absolutely- anytime anything is too tight on my stomach, the baby hates it and is not shy about letting me know. Also if I lean against my tummy, I get a nice swift punch/kick.

I just had the same thing happened. I put on a pair of non-maternity workout pants to go for a walk & when I came back I could feel the baby kicking around the band! Since I took the pants off, the baby is much happier

My baby does it to me also. Even if it's just the seat belt in a certain spot it kicks at it. If my pants are tight, or if I lean against something it will do it. I think it's cute!
