and lowes?
where do you recommend going??

Tile - check out "the Tile shop" on merrick ave in westbury, it is absolutely HUGE.
also proceda tile in deer park is good.
vanity, consumers kitchen and bath has some, so does green art plumbing. Also, any kitchen cabinet place can order vanities, same with HD and lowes, there are special order ones from the ktichen lines in additon to the ones in the bath department.
Have you checked out teh special order tile through HD and lowes? there are some real nice stuff in there that is "reasonable" compared to a tile shop and significnatly nicer than HD in stock. Lowes in stock actually has a nice range of good ile

I usually get my tile at cancos but last time I went to the tile shop (just opened new one in commack). My vanity I got at HD but I did see on ikeafans.com that some people use ikea kitchen cabinets as vanities.

We got our tile at the new Tile Shop in Commack and the vanity and medicine cabinet we ordered on line from FaucetDirect.com

I just got my vanity from oh kitchen & bath on 110, it's on the South side, a little b4 home depot if your traveling North.
They custom made it and the price was great, solid wood & granite
