Time for a WWYD?

What would you do if you saw someone put their 2 kids..ages 2.5 and 10 months..in their car without a carseat or boosterseat? I dont know if this is relavent but this person could of easily of borrowed a carseat and boosterseat or asked someone to watch the kids....

I guess it would depend on the relationship with the person but I would definitely say something!

I would have to say something-I just don't know how I would say it without them feeling judged. That's a very scary and dangerous thing.

I think I would say something. I would be nice about what/how I said it but the safety of the children would be on my mind to just ignore it.

Exactly!!! She doesnt take criticism well. But this happened several days ago and its really bothering me....It was an emergency situation but not life and death (her DH had run out of gas on the LIE) but I was home with carseats. (she knows that I have a booster, carseat, & infant carrier) and I could have watched the kids as would have any of the other ladies on the block WHO WERE ALL HOME!!!!

You already know what I think. But for the ladies on here that don't . . . CPS needs to be notified.

Re: Time for a WWYD?

If I know the person I would tell them that they can't take the kids anywhere without a carseat and ask if they want to borrow my own.

If I don't know the person I would probably call the police and give them her car and plate number.

Well, its none of your business, but it is your business to call the police.

I recently saw the police give someone a ticket for this. You can't control everyone, but you can let the authorities know that they are doing it.

i'd say something and if wasn't stopped i'd call the authorities. i'd rather those kids be safe and me look like a mean person then something happen and i did nothing to stop it.

Re: Time for a WWYD?

If it was a stranger, i would shake my head in frustration and keep going.

If it were a friend of mine i would say "what the hell?"
