"TIMELESS" bathroom fixtures - Satin or Bronze finish?
We will be redoing our bathrooms later this year and I want to get planning NOW.
Ideally I would love to do a slate floor and tub surrounding. Most likely a "beige/tan" on the wall. White sink/toilet/tub, beige Granite.
Now for the fixture. I would love for it to last a while and not get dated right away.
My first thoughts were for a satin finish. Classic!
But now I am wondering if a bronze would look more elegant.
I feel I am taking a risk with bronze.
Wouldn't it mean too that I have to change all the door knobs in my house? Would it look weird with a satin door handle?

i LOVE slate but think satin nickel hardware would blend better.
i have ORB bronze hardware in the powder room with ORB door hinges and an ORB interior door knob. the outer knob is satin nickel.

I think the fixtures within the room need to match-but nothing on the other side of the door.
I like both satin nickel and bronze.
