Tipping at Camp
My son goes to camp 3 days a week for 3 hours. Tomorrow is his final day..what would be an approprite amount to tip each counselor?
Does anyone have any ideas for the teacher and the assistant?

When I worked at a camp I was told by the director $1 a day per child per counselor was standard. I would typically work an 8 week camp, at 5 days a week... a $40 tip would be the average. This was years ago but I think it is a good rule of thumb.

My kids go all summer, and I tip $40 a counselor. I've never heard the $1 a day rule, but it sounds right to me.
ETA a lot of camps will circulate "tipping" charts.
