Tipping for Grocery Delivery...
Anyone know what to tip for grocery deliveries? I just placed my first order through peapod.com and dont know how much to tip??

I would say it depends on how much you order, and how far he has to bring in your groceries from the truck.

Just so that you know they are not SUPPOSED to accept tips. My sister works for the parent company and the drivers are apparently paid more than the industry standard and are told that they are NEVER to accept tips.
That said.. I usually give $5 and only once has the guy declined by letting me know that he wasn't supposed to accept tips. He was so nice about it that I put 10 in his truck when he was chatting with my husband.

Nope. She works as a trainer for Stop & Shop. I guess the policy has changed since the service began. Maybe that's why only one guy declined my tip!
