Tipping Newsday Delivery guy?
We get Newsday delivered every Sunday. Last weeks paper had an envelope to tip the delivery guy. How much would you tip for the holidays if you only get the paper once a week?

We only get the paper on Sundays too and I'm tipping $20. But we've only been getting it since June so it's half a year.

I send him 8 dollars every 8 weeks when I pay the Newsday bill (7 day delivery) and I give an additional $10 at Christmas. We always get good delivery even when it's snowy, hurricanes, etc. and I figure anyone needing a job bad enough to get up that early every day to deliver papers can use the extra.

We have the same delivery and tip them $20.00 at xmas time and then 20 in the summer!

I must be cheap - we only get Sunday delivery & I don't tip him/her  The only person that we tip is our mailman because we know him & he's a nice guy...

I only get sunday and gave him $10, but I tip him all year as well.
I did that job when I was a kid for 4 years and it stinks so I always tip. However, I had to drag my little cart around in the rain, snow, and bring the papers to the actual door not throw them in a puddle at the end of people's driveways. Also had to go around from house to house each week to collect the money from customers not not be bothered with billing like this guy.....but I digress, I still tip him..
