Tips For Mailman
Do you just leave a card in the mailbox with a gift inside?
How do you get the gift to them?

I try to catch him as he is deliving mail. Last year DH and I drove around the neighborhood until we found him.

I ran to the door the other day as he left the mail, said HEY, he turned around and i wasnt sure it was him. So I just said thanks and shut the door 
The next day it went in the mailbox. I know he got it bc he gave me a thank you card today.

I hope DH, but either way, we are getting our mailperson a $10 gift card to Dunkin Donuts. I'll probably put it in the mailbox Friday with a post it.

Not sure what amount we're giving our mailman but i'd say somewhere in between 25 & 50 bucks.
My mom's boyfriend is a mailman in Queens and he saves all the gifts until Christmas. I LOVE helping him open all the envelopes

We are giving $25 in a holiday card. We have been living there for two years and have had the same mailman. He is really good...At the house every day at 10:30am. During the summer if I am home, I give him ice cold water.....

We jsut gave his today. I put a note to ring the doorbell. Bc yesterday we saw the mail delivery and it was not the regular guy so I wanted to make sure it ended up in the right hands. But I am home. Not sure what you do if you are out and about or working.
ETA: we gave $20 too cash.
