Tips on How To Stay Awake?

Anyone have any to share????

I was just in a VERY important meeting and almost nodded off MANY, MANY times....

I resorted to using my nails to dig into my skin - but even that didn't help...

(i'm normally tired, but today - i had to be here CRAZY early, so that didn't help)

i drink a cup of coffee, 1/2 decaf 1/2 regular- or Tea. in the beg of my pregnancy i couldnt stand coffee, so i would save my tea until mid afternoon when i lost my mojo- it would get me through the rest of the work day.

I did the same thing.. and surprisingly enough... drinking some water and eating some fruit kept me up too.. not that you can do both of those in an important meeting!!! I guess teaching 5 classes also keeps you on your toes.. But tea or 1/2 reg 1/2 decaf coffee is a winner for helping me through the slump around 3...

You can drink a little caffeine....if you don't drink coffee, how about iced tea, soda, drink anything during your meeting so you're doing something....also, make sure you're drinking plenty of water otherwise, proper hydration will help to make sure that everything is functioning as best it can which in turn will help you be more alert. Other than that just hang in there, the tiredness goes away in a few weeks.
