Tired...really tired..
I'm 5 1/2 weeks pregnant and I've been tired the last 2 weeks. But the last 2 days I have felt drugged!!! I am so tired I could fall asleep on my keyboard! Its so bad these last 2 days.
ANyone else get this around this time?

I was like that until around 10 weeks I could barely finish my dinner sometimes. Hang in there, it will pass

I felt the same way during my 1st trimester. My "witching" hour was between 2 and 3 o'clock. As soon as I got home from work, I would eat and go to bed. I really think I slept thru the first part of my pregnancy.
My 2nd trimester is when I got my boost of energy. I'd say somewhere around 18 weeks.
Now that I'm less than a week away from my 3rd trimester (28 weeks) I feel dead tired again.... but that could be because I'm up all night going to the bathroom.

Yup! I was in bed at 8:00 and fast asleep. I am 15 weeks and still tired. Agh...........

Yes, I was like that until like 15 or 16 weeks, then got my energy back. Now that I am 34 weeks (3rd trimester) I am tired again...

Ahhhhhhhhhhh yes, welcome to the wonderful world of pregnancy!  For the first trimester I was asleep like a little baby by 8pm every night! The superwoman energy kicked in around 18 weeks for me... just remember, your body is working HARD, so take those naps as the fatigue hits you!

I'm ashamed to admit it, but there were quite a few times in the first trimester that I closed the door to my office... to nap... or vomit

I'm 15 weeks now and it's just starting to get a little better. Around 3:00-4:00 I always want a nap and it's impossible to get out of bed in the morning. I feel like I could sleep all day.

Fatigue was the only and only symtom I had during the 1st trimester...actually its the only thing I couldve complained about up until my itchiness and lack o f sleep...
I was so sleepy ALL the time... it was horrible... No matter how early I went to bed or how late I woke up..I was always dragging...
This lasted well into the first few weeks of the 2nd trimester...all you can do is rest..and take your vitamins.. I felt that helped a little..

you always hear about the m/s, but the exhaustion and fatigue are not really mentioned...
its the worst in the 1st trimester and then in the last two I had it on and off

I slept 20 hours a day during my 1st trimester! Luckily it was over summer vacation! I didn't have to get up for anything! Now that it's back to school and I'm in the 2nd trimester, I have all my energy back! It happens practically overnight when you get the energy back!

Ha!! I used to come home from work and sleep from 3:00 to 8:00. I would make dinner for my DH and then go back to bed until the next morning.

I actually fell asleep on me desk...it was so embarrassing. I had the accountant in my office and he had to wake me up...thank goodness I didn't drool on the tax papers...
It does get better. My DH and I didn't see each other for the first three months...I was in bed at 8:00 every night.

I was so tired in the beginning. It does go away for a bit though, and then comes back at the very end, I'd say around 34 weeks it hit hard again for me! But you'll get through it!!

I am PG with my second, and he's got me so busy every second, I am so exhausted at the end of the day! I know it does get better, but that first trimester is so hard! Hang in there.

OH MY GOD it was sooooooooo bad for me! I was tired ALL the time and could barely get to work in the morning. Everything was a chore for me, couldn't get anything done! And at work, I could also just lay my head down and fall asleep. It probably lasted until the end of the first tri for me and I am so thankful its finally gone!
