TMI - vomiting / morning sickness question
Sorry to be gross, but at nearly 16wks I still wake up gagging and/or puking. Mostly gagging everyday. Thing is, I just realized I'm just bringing up mucus really - does anyone else have this going on? I considered it m/s - and I guess it kind of is, but I guess the problem is more mucus is building up when I sleep. Is this a PG thing? TIA

That's what I figure but when I'm not PG, I'm usually not fighting this issue. Maybe since I'm already gagging and that's the m/s part, I'm just bringing up the drip? Gross!

Sounds like bile you're bringing up - probably b/c you're waking up with an empty stomach. Does it burn coming up

when i first started barfing, it was mucuous...and i had a terrible sinus infection/allergies. so you've probably got post nasal drip going on ..yumm...

Yes, it's bile.  I have it almost every day. Keep crackers and water by your bed, and eat before you even get up.

That happened to me a few times and it drove me crazy. Anything in the back of nose/throat would bring on the puking. I had to ride it out until my gag reflex calmed down (which took a few weeks).
