TMI: 4 months post-partum, almost 6 weeks since I stopped BF'ing and no period yet....
What is going on? I haven't gotten my period yet and I stopped bf'ing almost 6 weeks ago....how long does it usually take??

usually 4-8 weeks after you stop. You have to give your body time to get your hormones adjusted

I stopped BFing August 17th
I JUST got my period last week.

I'm dealing with my second period post partum, and am just finishing up the 23rd day in a row! (the first month was 11 days).
Enjoy it while it lasts!!!

Generally speaking. Some women get it while BFing, but most don't. And then it takes some time to get it once you stop BFing.

Usually no. TG!!!!! I could not deal with it AND BFing.
AF may come back before you stop BFing but It is usually later than if you feed baby formula.

Wow! I personally plan on BFing until DS is one so I will have a year of no AF plus the 9 months I was PG??? Woo Hoo!
