TMI-TTC & the big O
OK, does it better your chances of conceiving if you have the big O during BD? I thought I read that somewhere but not sure. TIA!

the only thing that i read about it, and i can't for the life of me remember where i read it at this point, said that if the woman O's it does in fact help the sperm. First, it provides a friendly atmosphere for the sperm, and second, the contractions can help suction the sperm up. However it said that the woman's O was not necessary for conception. Sorry if this is TMI! But that's what I read!

I am sure that there are plenty of women who never O who get pregnant. I am sure the contractions of the body during an O, help move things along rather nicely.

Ok, changing my previous post- they claim that....
When trying to conceive a girl, Shettles recommends that you don't ****** during sex as the body produces substances after ****** that makes the vaginal environment more alkaline, which favors the "boy" sperm.

It does significantly (but of course it is not necessary)...it sucks the little guys in closer to the cervix
but the rule is that you don't O before your DH as the O contractions will push the little guys out and not in so remember to try to O after your DH does his job..

 I don't remember where, but I thought I read just the opposite! Something about the 'killing' of sperm. I think I read it on here, and someone even asked what if you can't help it
I wonder which one is true.. but thats how rumors spread

You know what i have learned? that if i find one thing on one website i find the exact opposite on another. I swear I have never been so frustrated with the internet in my life! I guess just go with the flow and let nature take it's course. If I had to go thru TTC also trying to avoid O'ing I think that I might lose my mind!

Go with the flow! have fun enjoy sex with your DH and if two lines show up at the end of your cycle you did it!!
DOn't hold your legs up either, there's no proof that works either and it just kills cuddle time and looks funny
I conceived three times just having sex at the right time with my DH, and you know what it was so much fun! Extra fun when you have the big O and i usually go to the bathroom right after so i don't have to sleep in the wet spot!
