TMI warning - allergies to soap causing infection
Can an allergy to soap, lotion, etc. cause a yeast infection?? Does anyone have this?? my doctor said he saw yeast and an allergic reaction on my cervix...

Well sort of.
Soaps, fragrances, etc can cause PH changes which might in turn lead to yeast growth.
Try to stop using anything with fragrances down there! And NO douching (not saying you do but if you do, stop!). All that does is change the PH and destroy the good bacteria.
Also, you probably know but if you were on antibotics recently, that can really cause a yeast infection for sure.

Yes...I only use Dove since my mom instilled this in me since I was younger. I never use the Bath and Body works body wash or anything with a fragrance.

This is a very good point. I only use All free and clear and white vinegar on my unmentionables. Otherwise I end up with a really bad case of the itchies. And Dove with no fragrance to wash myself.

I try not to use scented soaps or body washes too often bc it makes me very sensiive. I use Dove Sensitive to wash now.. and I switch wearing thongs and boyshorts so everything can "breathe"
