To Aliciahelene...
It's officially Sunday, which means Alicia will be picking her sons up TOMORROW MORNING from the airport!!! I wanted to start a thread for Alicia to send her some last minute well wishes!!!
So, to Alicia....
I have followed your story from the very beginning, with your decision to adopt, and going through pictures and videos, the interviews and background checks, the waiting and wondering. You find out you're getting your boys, only later on to find out that you are ending your marriage. The highs and lows, ups and downs, and through it all you have been a constant source of strength, determination and inspiration.
A new job to support your new family, a new apartment with a bedroom that has probably never had so much thought put into it, a new car.
You thank me for the clothes, but really I should thank YOU. You give me hope that there are still great people in the world. People like you make the world a better place. Although we have never met, I can say with 10000% certainty that you are a truly caring, loving person who I am honored to "know".
To Biruk and Paulos...welcome to the United States, and to the LIF/LIW's family..we look forward to seeing lots of pictures and hearing lots of stories. But more importantly, welcome to a Mom who fought so hard to get you both and who loves you more than you can ever know.

I wish you nothing but the best. I have also followed your story..from the decision to adopt...to deciding on one son via video, and then deciding for 2 instead...you have made 2 friends, brothers. I have watched you waiting for updates, confirming availability of Paulos and Biruk, waiting for your tests, leaving your marriage, finding a new job, new apartment, new car...
Your love for these children, determination to give them a new, better life, has been an inspiration to many. Your drive is amazing, and these boys are so lucky to be joining you in your heart and soul.
And Alicia, the best is yet to come! Congratulations and lots of Love!! I will be thinking of you!!

I want to say congratulations on getting your Boys tomorrow I am so Happy for you. you are a very giving person and have a heart made of gold you are like a angel who was sent to earth to bring these boys up as your own. i also was here from the beginning when you told us about the adoption and telling us you couldn't wait till you brought them home and all of the pics you have shown us of them. we were also all here when you told us about your failed marriage and how you stuck it out and now here we are all celebrating your joy and excitement and we feel very honored to be apart of this excitement. god bless you and your boys always and forever.
paulo and biruk- you are going to have the best mom in the world just know you have a angel for a mom and now this angel is aprt of your life now to share it with you. Best of luck to you all.
