As many of you are aware, we don't get breastpump coverage.. However, I did some research and heard that there may be a loophole. Someone said on a forum on line that they used their hospital insurance info, and the pump got covered and she never got a bill... I just went on yummymummystore.com to order a spectra pump through the BCBS insurance, and so far it says $0. I plan on buying the pump regardless, so I figured it was worth a shot. I will let you all know if it works!!

Hey everyone I just wanted to update- I ordered through yummymummystore.com through my BCBS insurance and the pump got here today. I didn't get any e-mails from them with a conflict (in the past when I used GHI, I got an email saying it wasn't covered). So, i THINK it worked!

My husband is a city police officer, so we have the same insurance. GHI and my hospital coverage is BCBS. I called the other day and the breast pump isn't covered under GHI. I wonder if the same would work for me. Maybe I'll give it a try.

Yeah it's worth a shot. I still haven't gotten a bill

Make sure you get a script from your dr. I just used Yummy mummy and they needed to fax a script .

They did? They never called me for one, and just sent me the pump. Should I send one in anyway?

They may have contacted your obgyn for one. Didn't you have to fill out a form and put your obgyn info on it? I remember that's what I did with my first pregnancy and they took care of everything.

Yeah on the web form I put his info. I never asked him for a prescription personally, though. I guess the yummy mummy store did
